“Six Seven Eight” is a visionary and physical theatre performance inspired by William Blake’s poems, prophecies and paintings placed in a socio-economical contemporary context. There is no story, no hero or heroine, no obvious links between words, images and live music. It is a performance focused on concept and visuals. We want to push the boundaries. We believe theatre is spatial poetry so we chose "far and away the greatest visionary artist Britain has ever produced"; William Blake. We aim to offer London's 2011s extremely diverse audience an experience more than just a theatre performance, reinvigorating and contemporary interpretation of William Blake’s work. Fana says :"William Blake had six, seven, eight, or maybe more visions in London.
There is no story, no hero or heroine, no obvious links between words, images and music. We ask questions, we don’t know the answers. We are challenging the audience to find their own answers.
“6 7 8” is a theatrical visionary and physical exploration of William Blake's poems, prophecies and paintings placed in an international socio-political context dominatedby the power of materialism."
